Oceanic Tides
Tides are daily oscillations in sea level along coastlines. Due to the gravitational force of the sun and the moon, as well as the centripetal acceleration of those same objects in space, the water on the surface gets pulled towards the sun and moon, creating high tide and low tide in a constant flow of raised and lowered water levels.
